Prenatal Massage Advanced Techniques

About this live event

This in-depth class will focus on Advanced techniques for you to use with your prenatal clients. In the course, Prenatal Massage Foundations, we covered contraindications, myths that surround prenatal massage, as well as proper position and draping for each trimester. In this class you'll learn about emotional, physical and physiological changes that take place each trimester so you can meet your client where they are in there prenatal journey. You'll learn how a woman's postural changes during pregnancy, muscles and joints most commonly affected, and how to relive your clients' pain in each trimester. You'll learn targeted stretches to perform on your client and you'll also learn a detailed, 60 minute prenatal protocol (demonstrated by video). You'll have even more confidence and be able to support your clients throughout their entire pregnancy.

    Jenn Taylor is a Licensed Massage Therapist and NCBTMB Approved Instructor for Continuing Education. Jenn is also an ICF Life Coach for Entrepreneurs, Postpartum Doula, Energy Worker, Instinctive Meditation Coach and Emotion Code Practitioner.

    Jenn began her Massage Therapy career in 2006 and became a Continuing Education Instructor in 2014, and is passionate about coaching and educating massage therapists so they can further their careers.

  • Washington Board of Massage Therapy (WABMT)

    The Washington Board of Massage Therapy does not approve or preapprove continuing education activities. Licensees are responsible for choosing CE that meets requirements as per requirements outlined in WAC 246-830-475.
