About this live event

In this training, participants will learn a great deal about the Postpartum period. Many classes focus on Prenatal care, but this class will delve into the Postpartum body and stages. You will learn how to safely massage postpartum clients while helping them feel comfortable and relaxed. You will learn how to recognize postpartum contraindications and conditions that may affect some clients. You will learn how the postpartum period can affect women physically, emotionally and psychologically. You'll be able to meet your clients needs wherever they are in the postpartum period.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in positioning and draping postpartum clients.
  • Discuss emotional, physical and physiological changes that occur during the postpartum period.

  • Jennifer Taylor, LMT

    Jenn Taylor has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006, specializing in Prenatal and Postpartum Massage. She became a NCBTMB approved CE provider in 2014 and is dedicated to improving the Massage Therapy profession through education for the public and massage therapists. 

    Jenn is also a Business Coach for Holistic Business Owners, helping them infuse their core values into their business so they can lead with authenticity, grow their practice, make an impact, and live an aligned life.

    Jenn lives in Palm Coast, Florida with her husband and children. She’s an Army veteran, homeschooling mom, and in her free time she enjoys spending time in nature, on the beach, reading and learning.

CE Process Info

Before the event, you will receive an email from CE-Go with access to the virtual event. After the event, you will receive access to your evaluation and continuing education certificate via a personalized "attendee dashboard" link, hosted on the CE-Go website.   • Florida Board of Massage Therapy (FLBMT)

  • New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (NJMBT)

    The New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy accepts continuing education programs if approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). This continuing education activity is approved for the New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy based on the approval by the NCBTMB approval (provider #1000939)

  • Washington Board of Massage Therapy (WABMT)

    The Washington Board of Massage Therapy does not approve or preapprove continuing education activities. Licensees are responsible for choosing CE that meets requirements as per requirements outlined in WAC 246-830-475.
