Joshua (Josh) has studied the human body, along with its functions & movements for many years. At the age of 4, he began his martial arts training in his family’s studio. At 8 years old, he began assistant teaching with his father to both children & adult students alike. At the age of 12 he earned 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He began studying Tai Chi in 1999 & eventually taught it for 8 years while living in California.
His passion for learning about the body thru martial arts led him to the field of massage & bodywork. In 1999 he began his studies in holistic health & therapeutic bodywork at Body Mind College in San Diego, CA. Since then he has taught complete massage therapy training programs (720 hours of training) for Kaplan College, & has taught & directed MT programs for United Education Institute. He also designed, developed & taught core curriculum classes & CE courses for “School of Healing Arts” in San Diego CA, Elite CME & Colibri Group in Florida & numerous other states. He has also designed programs & educated home health care provider teams in massage therapy techniques. He is well known for his expertise in proper body mechanics related to martial arts & massage therapy.
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NCBTMB as an Approved Provider, No. 1000939. Programs that do not qualify for NCBTMB credit are clearly identified.
